Who is the Security Compliance Institute (ISCI)?
The ISA Security Compliance Institute (ISCI) functions as an operational group within ISA’s Automation Standards Compliance Institute. ASCI bylaws share the open constructs of ISA, while accounting for compliance organization requirements. Operating the ISA Security Compliance Institute within ASCI allows the organization to efficiently leverage the organizational infrastructure of ASCI. ISA provides professional management services to ASCI drawing on its extensive staffing, financial, and administrative infrastructure to support programs established by compliance institutes such as ISCI.
What does this mean for IriusRisk users?
We want to support the design of critical infrastructure, substations, electrical, utilities, oil and gas. It is important to us that we support organizations to ensure they are threat modeling and designing their systems up to standards and regulations in line with the ISA standards, in particular with Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) IEC/ ANSI 62443.
IriusRisk offers a library of Threats, Weaknesses and Countermeasures, aligned to IEC/ANSI 62443-4-2 Certified Components and IEC/ANSI 62443-3-3 Certified Systems, where companies are looking to use the appropriate systems to achieve certification.
